Doyal Wayne Brasher, 63, of St. Charles, KY passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at his home. He was born in Madisonville, KY on March 9, 1956 to the late Hershel and Lawanda Long Brasher. Mr. Brasher was of the Christian faith and was a member of the UMWA. He had worked for Island Creek Coal Hamilton #2 Mine. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Ronnie Brasher and David Brasher. Mr. Brasher is survived by his wife, Quenell Brasher of St. Charles, KY; four children: Jeremy Brasher and his wife, Liz, of Evansville, IN, Evan Brasher of St. Charles, KY, Gwendolyn Browning and her husband, Paul, of Greenville, KY, and Jessie Brasher of St. Charles, KY; one sister, Linda Hankins and her husband, Clarence, of Nortonville, KY; one brother, Dennis Brasher and his wife, Wetonia, of Madisonville, KY; two grandchildren: Sarah Brasher and Benjamin Brasher; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1:00 PM at McIntosh Church (550 McIntosh Church Rd.) in Nortonville, KY with Bro. Charlie Spears officiating. There will be no visitation.
