Dolores “Dee”‘s Obituary Dolores “Dee” Wright, age 88, of Mankato, died Friday, August 30, 2019 at New Perspective Senior Living in Mankato. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30pm, Saturday, September 7, 2019 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato with visitation starting at noon. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Memorials are preferred to the SCHOLA Foundation (The Haefner Scholarship Fund) or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Please share a memory of Dee with her family at www.mankatomortuary.com. Dee was born February 7, 1931 in Mankato to John and Clara (Scheuer) Haefner. She graduated from Loyola High School in 1949. Dee was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Ronald F. Wright, on September 6, 1952 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Dee worked as a realtor for Midwest Realty for many years and later was a sales associate for MGA Graphics. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge and pfeffer with friends, golfing, socializing over dinner, following her husband’s teams as he coached various sports at Loyola, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dee is survived by her five children, Susan (Dan) Duffy of Mankato, Debbie (Steve) Byrne of Mankato, Michael (Ann) Wright of Mankato, Patti (Bill) Vogel of Pickerington, OH, Kevin (Connie) Wright of Mankato; nine grandchildren, Kelly (Cody) Rauchman, Sarah (Jake) Rademacher, Elaine (Nick) Wise, Cassandra (Bill) Bowser, Jane (Justin) Ek, Jessica Vogel, Courtney Vogel, Jenny Wright, and Haley Wright; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey (Dewey) Mettler; brother, George (Anne) Haefner; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; and 12 brothers and sisters. Read More
