Dennis’ Obituary Bill, Dennis of Flushing, died Monday, August 5, 2019, after a courageous 15-month battle with cancer at his home. A celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Rossell Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Dennis was born in Flint, Michigan on March 16, 1962, the son of Joseph and Leah Ruth (Forsyth) Bill. He married Wendy Eckel on October 6, 1990. Dennis spent more than 30 years as a Tool and Die Maker for General Motors. He spent most of his free time with his family on Houghton Lake where he enjoyed boating, trail riding, and the company of lifelong friends. He had a passion for restoring vintage snowmobiles and a ‘56 Chevy. He was known as the man who could fix anything and was always happy to lend his talent to those around him. He will be dearly missed for his sense of humor, smile, fun-loving personality, and the way he brought life to the dance floor. Dennis is lovingly remembered by his wife, Wendy; his two daughters, Brianne and Brittany; father, Joseph; brothers, David and Gary; sister-in-law, Jackie and many nieces and nephews. They will all miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leah Ruth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Read More
