David’s Obituary DERBY: David M. Gilloren, age 43, entered into eternal rest on August 12, 2019, in his home, with his loving family by his side. David was born in Derby on March 9, 1976, beloved son of Mary Salemme Gilloren of Derby and the late David J. Gilloren. A lifelong resident of Derby, he was a self-employed handyman. He was a proud veteran, honorably serving in the U.S. Army and National Guard from 1998 to 2005. Dave was an avid sports fan, especially WWE wrestling, UFC fighting and basketball. In addition to his mother Mary, he is survived by a brother, Martin Gilloren of Ansonia, sisters, Deborah Sherman (David) of Roxbury and Jennifer Sears (John) of Derby, nephews, Michael Necio and Patrick Sears, nieces, Alana Necio, Tiffany Sears, Brianna Sears and Kaitlin Sears and great-niece, Julianna. A private service with close family and friends will be held with burial in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby. There will be no public visiting hours. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements. Read More
