“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7 On Friday, August 9, 2019 our hearts were saddened and life changed for us as we once knew it when Carolyn Tucker of Petersburg, VA peacefully transitioned into the arms of the Lord for her eternal home. Born February 2, 1948 to the late Clinton Hall, Sr. and Ernestine Hall in Nash County, North Carolina. Carolyn attended Petersburg Public Schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School. She married her life long love, Bernard L. Tucker. From that union they have two children, Bryan K. Tucker and Toni Tucker-Davis. She was baptized at a young age at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Petersburg, VA. She moved her membership to Oak Grove Baptist Church, Dinwiddie County, where she had served on various committees and sang in the choir. Carolyn enjoyed cooking for her family and she loved to conversate with all who met her. she was one who never complained but spent her life supporting and loving her family. she was a loving and outgoing person who enjoyed outings with her mother. Carolyn was a loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren. she was a member of VFW in Petersburg, VA. She was preceded in death by her father Clinton Hall, Sr., a brother, Clinton Hall, Jr. left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bernard Tucker of Petersburg; children, Bryan K. Tucker and Toni Tucker-Davis (Lamont) of Chesterfield; mother, Ernestine Hall of Petersburg; sister, Deborah H. Wilson of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Breon L. Jones of Petersburg, Bria K. Tucker and Taliyah E. Davis pf Chesterfield, Byron Clark (Kia) of Chesterfield, Trae Clark of South Dakota, LaKesha Cunningham and LaNikqua Covington of Petersburg; three aunts, Dorothy Toney, Frances and Nancy Bryant all of Maryland, one uncle, Alton Bryant (Shirley) of Emporia, VA; five sisters-in-law, Bernice E. Dean (loving and devoted) (Robert)of Petersburg, Blossie L. Cheatham of Chesterfield, Irene D. Thomas of Philadelphia, PA, Diana M. Tucker and Marienne Tucker of Petersburg; two brothers-in-law, Cornelius W. Tucker of Petersburg and Eric D. Tucker (Shondra) of Denver, CO; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three devoted nieces, Samondria N. Wilson, Jermarika V. Wilson of Chesterfield and Deveron K.
