Bert’s Obituary Bert Cohlman, 91, of Brandon, SD died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Bethany Home in Brandon. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 4 at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon, with entombment at Hills of Rest Mausoleum, Sioux Falls, SD. Visitation begins at 5:00 PM Tuesday, September 3 at George Boom Funeral Chapel in Brandon, where the family will greet friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and a Liturgical Wake Service followed by the Holy Rosary starts at 7:00 PM. Bertha M. “Bert” Baumiller, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Abbot) Baumiller, was born November 6, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA. Bert was united in marriage with Elmer W. Cohlman on January 17, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA. Grateful for having shared her life are her loving husband of 74 years, Elmer; two children, Donna Lessnau and her husband, Rick, Sioux Falls, SD, Don Cohlman and his wife, Kathy, Chandler, AZ; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lessnau, Los Angeles, CA, Donald Cohlman Jr., Chandler, AZ, Beth Dubovik and her husband, Dan, Mesa, AZ; six great-grandchildren, Huxley, Derek, Anthony, Catherine, Stephen and Evelyn; and many other relatives and friends.
