Willie Ray Mackey, age 70, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, July 18, 2019. He was born on May 13, 1949, in Hot Springs, the son of Jack Mackey and Dorothy Orene Jelks Mackey. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ovid Mackey and James Foshee; and three sisters, Lillie Hawthorn, Faye Surratt and Pauline Simmons. Willie was Christian in faith and was so very thankful for God’s grace. He is survived by his daughter, Toma Mackey; one grandson; three sisters, Melba Ferden, Shirley Blake and Darlene Wood; three brothers, Ben Foshee, Lavelle Foshee, Elmer Mackey; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 9:45AM, Thursday morning at Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
