William Felton Hall, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 18, 2019, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. William accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He was born on October 20, 1944 in Canton, Ohio. William attended Canton City Schools. He was employed by the Timken Co. then the Ford Motor Co., where he was relocated to Sandusky, Ohio, and there he retired after 38 years of service. William was an avid bowler, he also enjoyed fishing, and playing cards. He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, but mostly enjoyed being the #1 fan of his great-grandsons: Israel, Dale, Davon, Dante Jr. and Colton during their sporting events. He was preceded in death by his parents Felton and Susie Bell Hall, Rev. Percy Newell; sisters, Linda Hall Tibbs, Grace Mae Newell and Eloise Newell; grandson, R.J. Bell II. William leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 54 years, Girlie Mae Hall; daughter, Angela Humphries; (3) sons, Andre Humphries, William F. Lindsay) Hall, William Kye (Kathy) Hall; step-children, Troy McIntyre, Tonia (Richard) Bell, Brigit Shipp; (20) grandchildren, (20) great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
