Sharon Lee Mitchell March 18, 1950 – July 02, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Sharon Lee Mitchell, 69, of Cabbage Hill Rd., Clymer, N.Y., died Tuesday, July 2, 2109, at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie, Pa. She was born March 18, 1950, in Williamsport, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Anna M. Blakeslee Daszynicz. Sharon was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry Area High School in 1968. She worked for General Telephone in Erie as an operator before working as a bookkeeper at Union City Chair Company. Sharon worked there until 1981. She then stayed home to raise and care for her family. She most recently worked for Walmart in the Vision Center from 2002 until she retired in 2008. Sharon enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Donald R. Mitchell, whom she married May 27, 1972 in Union City, Pa.; a daughter Melissa Mather and her husband Tom of Corry, Pa.; a brother, J. Michael Daszynicz and his wife Laura of Union City; and two grandsons, Wyatt and Gunner. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center Street, Corry, Pa., on Friday at 11 am. Pastor Les Utegg will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Clymer Volunteer Fire Department, 8756 W. Main St., Clymer, N.Y. 14724, or the American Cancer Society, Corry Unit, 2115 W. 38th St., Erie, PA. 16508.
