Ronnie Kidd August 31, 1956 – July 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Ronnie Kidd was born on August 31, 1956 in Talladega, Alabama, the son of the late Archie Kidd and Gladys Kidd. On Tuesday, July 16, 2019, Ronnie answered the “Master’s Call” and went home to be with the Lord. He was a member of Jacob’s Chapel, Talladega, AL. Ronnie received his education in the local public schools. He was a graduate of Talladega High School, Class of 1974. Ronnie moved to New York City in 1984. Ronnie worked at the V.A. Hospital in Brooklyn, NY for 31 years. Ronnie loved to fish and always enjoyed hosting backyard barbecues. He loved to help anybody and everybody. He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory: his wife, Vivian of twenty-five years; his son, Ronald Wallace; his daughter, Tyieshia; godchild, Shakia Carmichael (“Fat Jaws”); grandchildren, Nakye Grant (“Bopeep”), Uriah Brown (Missy), U-Tyci Brown (Tally), and Kyrie Carmichael (“Little Man”); brothers, Greg and Archie (Deneen); sisters, Gloria (Mike), and Glenda (Clyde); sisters-in-law, Janie, Rosa, Gloria, Vernela (Billy), and Cynthia (Alvin); brothers-in-law, Robert (Ann); Randy (Linda), Michael, Mickey, Ben, and Jacob; aunts, Roberta, Lillie, and Annie; nephews, Rashad, Arden, Clyde, and Latoya; niece, Sarah; grandniece, Sarah; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends; and two very special friends, Ray Bess and Chris.
