Robert “Bobby”‘s Obituary Attica – Robert “Bobby” Earl Bowers, 64, Attica, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 5:45 p.m. Bobby was born in Danville, Illinois on August 24, 1954. He was the son of the late Russell Gerald and Mary Lucille (Wesley) Bowers. Bobby was raised in Kramer, graduating from Seeger Memorial High School. He has lived in Attica for over the past 10 years. Bobby worked at Myers Steel Fabricating Company in Attica. He also worked at the Bad Lands for the Myers family. Bobby enjoyed fishing and spending time in the Bad Lands, riding quad runners and rock crawling. He would also be a spotter for Troy Myers when they traveled out west to do rock crawling. Bobby married Pamela “Pam” K. Powers on April 27, 1976 in Attica. He leaves behind his wife Pam of 43 years along with three children, Mandy (Roy) Purcell, Kramer; Amy Isbell, Lafayette and Joseph “Joey” Bowers, Covington; two sisters, Betty Bowers and Bonnie Clinton, both of Kramer; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Grady. A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at a later date. Read More
