Robert’s Obituary Robert A. Henry, age 80, of Homer City, (Buffington Twp), died Saturday, July 13, 2019 at his home. He was born in 1938 in Homer City to James and Alma Foster Henry. Bob was a member of the Barkley Wesleyan Methodist Church. He was self-employed as a barber his entire life after returning from the US Army. Bob was a graduate of the Johnstown Cambria Barber School in 1967. He loved to golf and collect and restore General Motor cars. Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Besz and husband Matthew, Kempton; Ali Henry Leasure and husband Brian, Homer City; one grandson, Zachariah Besz; two brothers, Mack Henry and wife Mary Lou “Tut”, Homer City; Hayes Henry, Homer City. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gail R. Hill Henry in 2010, two sisters and two brothers, Ruth Butler, June Bruckhart, Paul “Butch” Henry, and James R. Henry. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 1 to 1:30 P.M. at the Barkley Wesleyan Methodist Church where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 P.M. with the Rev. Rick Markel officiating. Interment will be made in the Brush Valley Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post #1989. Read More
