Elizabethton, Tn Reba J Barnett, 79, went to be with the Lord July 17, 2019 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Reba was preceding in death by her parents, Robert Ray and Leona Ray; brother, Wayne Ray; and sister, Ermma June Carr. Reba is survived by two sons, Mitchell Campbell of Johnson City, Tennessee and Gary and wife Regina Barnett of Kingsport, Tennessee; brothers, Jerry and wife Ruby Ray, and Bob and wife Pat Ray Both of Elizabethton, Tennssee; sister: Wava Murphy of Leominster, Massachusetts; several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and very special friend over 50 years, Sue Birchfield. Reba was native of Elizabethton, Tennessee. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Reba loved to sing and play guitar. Reba sang in Gospel group known as The Faith Trio along with her mom and sister in 70’s. They sang at local churches throughout the Tri-Cities. The family is having a Celebration of Reba’s life Thursday, August 1st, 2019 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at RiverSide Commuity Church, 123 Patterson Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643 with Pastor Benny Wilson officiating and singing by Southern Harmony and Tammie Cole.
