Mary Katherine Prehn, 86, of Lawton, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at in Lawton. She was born November 19, 1932 in Bloomingdale, Michigan, the daughter of the late Ruby Moon and Flossie May (Ulam) Moon. She is survived by her two sons, Daniel (Diane) Prehn of Mattawan, MI, Douglas (Tamara) Prehn of Portage, MI; two daughters, Janet (Lester) Haywood of Paw Paw, MI, Tina Prehn of Lawton, MI; five Grandchildren, John Prehn, Thomas Prehn, Amanda (Ricky) Phillips, Andrea Haywood, Christopher Prehn; two brothers, Paul (Jean) Moon, Arthur Moon, brother in law, George Darling; great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Justin, Austin, Laila, Tommy,Bailey,Trista, Brooklyn, Landon, Ricky, Anakin and Penelope along with many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Prehn whom she married April 23, 1951, her son, Tim Prehn, and her grandson Daniel Prehn, Jr. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton, with Rev. Ron Packer officiating.
