Marvin E. Chambers, 81, of Anderson, passed away July 30, 2019 at Community Hospital Anderson. He was born on July 5, 1938 in Anderson, Indiana. Marvin graduated from Summitville High School and served his country in the US Army. He retired from General Motors as a tool and die maker. He was a lifetime member of Daleville Masonic Lodge. Marvin also raced horses and was a breeder at Hoosier Park. Marvin is survived by his loving spouse, Gianna (Tessaro) Chambers; children, Jannie (Howard) Boyer, Marvin Chambers, Jr., Ginnie (fiance, Alex Carver) Smith, Matthew (Michelle) Chambers, Jill (Lonnie Allen) Hudson of Anderson, IN, brother, Bobby (Cindy) Chambers and Lillian Savage; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Chambers, mother, Margaret Chambers, 2 sisters, Peggy Zehrung and Sarah Sigler. Visitation will be held Friday, August 2, 2019, 10:30 am – 11:30 am at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN. Services will be Friday, August 2, 2019, 11:30 am at the funeral home with Jim Tallman officiating. Burial will take place in the Nelson Cemetery.
