Loretta’s Obituary Loretta Gayle Williams, age 73, of Brady, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Goldthwaite, Texas. Loretta was born January 3, 1946 in Austin, Texas to Ollie Edward Murphy and Henrietta (Lee) Murphy. She married David Williams on June 28, 1967 in Austin. Loretta was a very accomplished seamstress. She loved to sew and was well known in the horse racing circles for her “Jockey Silks” and “Winners Blankets”. She was an avid reader. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She moved to Brady in 1972 after living several years in Austin. Graveside services for Loretta Gayle Williams will be held at 1:00pm Friday, July 5, 2019 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady. Friends may view and/or sign the online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com. Pallbearers will be Derek Mimbela, Jaime J. Mimbela, Stetson Patterson, Weston Patterson, Lee Henry Williams and Jeremy Williams. Loretta Williams is survived by her son David Williams, Jr. and wife Carrie of Brady, Texas; daughters Pamela Mimbela and husband Jaime of Austin, Texas, Lisa Williams of Brookesmith, Texas and Theresa Gonzalez and husband William of Brady, Texas; brother Weldon Thornton and wife Trini of Manfred, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Hedy Thornton of Manfred, Oklahoma; grandchildren Derek Mimbela, Jaime J. Mimbela, Stetson Patterson, Weston Patterson, Krystal Tully, Lee Henry Williams and Jeremy Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and six brothers. Read More
