Lonnie’s Obituary Lonnie Murl Rollins, was born on October 15, 1954, to Lecile Byron Rollins and Nina Jean (Caulde) Rollins, in Freer, Texas. He passed from this life on July 20, 2019, at the age of 64. Lonnie moved to Lindsay, Oklahoma, in 1955 and was a resident until 1972 at which time he moved to California. He moved back to Lindsay in 1980 and in recent years had been a resident of Lawton, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Presbyterian in Lawton, Oklahoma. He worked at the Lindsay News during and after high school and during his time here in Lindsay before he moved to Lawton. He is survived by his mother, Nina Jean Rollins of Lindsay, Oklahoma, his brothers, Lael Rollins and wife Barbara of Newcastle, Oklahoma and Richard Rollins and wife LeAnn of Goodlettsville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father, Lecile Byron Rollins and sister, Louetta Rollins. A Memorial Service to honor the life of Lonnie is set to begin at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Boydston-Wilbourn Funeral Home Chapel in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Boydston-Wilbourn Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
