DANTE, VIRGINIA – Lois Pauline Keith, 87, died Sunday, July 7, 2019 at her home. She was born in Dante, Virginia; daughter of the late Joe and Leon Carty Hurd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darnell Keith, Sr., one daughter, Brenda Joyce Neece, two sons-in-law, Larry Neece and Bill White. She is survived by her one daughter, Leona Fay White of Castlewood, Virginia; one son, Darnell Keith Jr. and wife, Cheryl of Dante, Virginia; five grandchildren, Jonathan Keith, Shelly Snipes, Joyce “Joy” Steffey, Melissa White McCurdy and Heather White Jacobs and husband, Andy; fifteen great grandchildren, Tyler Snipes, Lacey Hensley, Nathan Hensley, Jonathan Keith, Jr., Amber Keith, Matthew McCurdy, Kelly Steffey, Sarah Steffey, Austin Steffey, Jade McCurdy, Shawna McCurdy, Wyoming McCurdy, Matthew McCurdy, Glenn Neely and Jacob Neely; one great-great grandchild, Benjamin Lucas Johnson Snipes; two sisters, JoAnn Keith of Castlewood, Virginia and Wilma McClellan of West Virginia. Funeral Services for Lois Pauline Keith will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Steve Justice officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be Jamie McCurdy, Andy Jacobs, Johnny Snipes, Jade McCurdy, Heather White Jacobs and Darnell Keith Jr. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
