Lillie E. Turpin, age 75 of Burgoon, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. Lillie was born September 4, 1943 in Kimball, West Virginia the daughter of the late Boyd Sampson and Princess Tiny Burks. Lillie is survived by her husband, Robert Turpin, whom she married in 1960 in Kimball, West Virginia; sons: Robert Turpin, Jr. of Burgoon; Kenneth (Ruby) Turpin of Clyde; and Brian Turpin of Fostoria; daughters: Lisa Turpin of Traphill, North Carolina, and Julie (Jeremy) Hutchinson of Rising Sun; 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; brother, Estel (Patricia) Burks of Winnabow, North Carolina; sisters: Elisa (Julian) Sizemore of West Virginia, and Mabel (Todd) Dewhurst of Paisley, Florida. In addition to her parents, Lillie is preceded in death by her daughters: Rita Overbee and Brenda Turpin; grandson, Robert Overbee; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers. Lillie’s family will be holding visitation on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 10:00am until a memorial service beginning at 11:00am at River of Life Church of God, 300 Park Ave., Fremont, OH 43420.
