Lillian Wilson-Young, 90 of Taylorville passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 7:16 a.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville, IL. She was born on August 16, 1928 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of John and Anna (Delinsky) Wilson. She married Alvin L. Young on July 4, 1946 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville, IL and he preceded her in death on October 11, 2005. Lil loved her family and she was a good friend to everyone. She is survived by her Son: Terry Young of Taylorville, IL; Sisters: Joann Bassana; Barbara Radzmanowski; Brother-in-Law: Bill Radzimanowski; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband and Brother-in-Law: Chester Bassana. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville with Sr. Rose McKeown officiating. Memorials may be made to Christian County Animal Control 300 S. Baughman Rd. Taylorville, IL 62568. Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
