Barsch, age 59, of Topeka passed away July 25, 2019 in Topeka. Kenny was born July 23, 1960 in Parsons, Kansas. He grew up in Topeka attending school at Shawnee Heights schools. He served in the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated KNJ’s Bar in Oakland. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth William Barsch; a sister, Marretta Arey and a brother, Lanny Garrett. Kenny was a dad and friend to everyone and he is survived by his mother, June Barsch-Terrill; his companion, Nicole Paine; sons, Kenneth Barsch, Skyler Goodson, Zach Barsch and Brett Joynt; three daughters, Sonya Wilson, Andi-K Long Heart and Cassie Joynt; three sisters, Ladonna Martin, Robin Grindol and Angel Blum, and 10 grandchildren. Kenny enjoyed fishing, playing pool, singing karaoke, laughing and riding motorcycles. Graveside service will be Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Cemetery, 53rd and Ratner Road, Berryton, KS. Friends can pay respects Monday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be paid to the Davidson Funeral Home to assist with funeral services. davidsonfuneral.com. Celebration of Life will be held after the services Tuesday at the KNJ Bar.
