Kenneth D. Rymal, age 76, resident of Shelby died on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Ohio Health in Mansfield. Born on August 22, 1942 in Galion to Edward and Eleanora Rymal, he was employed as an electrical engineer for the Shelby Auto Call and then was employed at Mansfield Graphics. Kenneth was a small plane pilot, and after he was no longer able to fly, became an avid builder of model planes. He had enjoyed building 1960-1970’s British sports cars, and was a lover of all things fashion & interior design. He was a proud Arab-American & member of the LGBTQA+ community. He is survived by his daughter Tabitha Rymal-Vaughn, his son-in-law Seth Vaughn, & his 8 year old granddaughter Sydney Vaughn, of Fairfax, VA; plus his 1/2 sister Jill Reed of Seattle, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Per Kenneth’s requests, calling hours will not be observed. Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
