Kenneth Briley, 96, of Mobile, AL passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. He was born February 8, 1923, in Nashville, TN. He was a WWII U. S. Air Force veteran. He had also retired from the U. S. Postal Service. He was an active member of First Pentecostal Church of Helena, which he loved dearly. Kenneth was preceded in death by his first wife, Clara Vice Briley; second wife, Mildred Marie Briley; sons, Raymond Briley, Ronald Briley, and James Briley; daughter, Patricia Briley; daughter-in-law,… Read More » Cathy Watkins; along with his parents, one sister, and two brothers. He is survived by his children, Gary (Mike) Ray, Paulette Creel, and Rex Watkins; daughters-in-law, Bertha Briley and Debbie Briley; seven grandsons, Kevin (Lisa) Young, Michael (Ann) Young, Jason (Gina) Creel, Ron (Tucker) Briley, Jamie Briley, Brandon Briley, and Chandler Watkins; five granddaughters, Sacha (Daniel Lynn) Platt, Danielle (Sean) Miller, Susie (Jonathan) Keith, Bailey Watkins, and Delaney Watkins; along with several great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. Funeral service will begin at noon in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Timothy Mains officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Orange Grove Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated in Moss Point/Escatawpa, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
