Ken Lowe August 20, 1936 – July 30, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card James Kenneth Lowe, age 82, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on August 20, 1936 to his parents the late Ked Lowe and Grace Blackburn Lowe. He was the husband of Barbara Sue Little Lowe, a retired cable repair technician, and a believer of the Methodist Faith. He also served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959. Along with his parents, Ken was preceded in death by one son, Mark Kenneth Lowe, and one sister, Doris Spurlock. Along with his wife, Ken is survived by one son, Tracy Lowe, one granddaughter, Allison (Ermal) Causey, three sisters, Helen (Harry) Altman, Blanche (Tim) Swanston, Phyllis (Steve) Friend, one brother in law, Tommy Spurlock, one sister in law, Kay Lyon, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Tim Swanston and Steve Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
