Kathleen’s Obituary Kathleen “Kate” M. Malony, 66, of Columbus, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Penn Hospice in Philadelphia, PA. Kate was born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Emerson, NJ and Robbinsville, NJ before moving to Columbus 6 years ago.Kate was a graduate of Emerson High School and received her Bachelors degree from Colorado State University. Kate was employed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Enviromental Protection for 25 years before retiring in 2013. She is survived by a sister, Susan E. (Malony) Maugeri and brother-in-law Thomas of Columbus, NJ, a brother Matthew J. Malony of Ft. Collins, Colorado, a nephew Thomas P Quinn, his wife Chloe and their daughter Cecelia Kate of Salt Lake City, Utah; a niece Kathleen M. (Quinn) Pierson and her husband Steven of Manahawkin, NJ and their 2 sons Connor and James, and several cousins.
