Mrs. Josephine Potter Horne 68, of Riegelwood died Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center, Wilmington. She was born June 9, 1951 in Brunswick County, the daughter of the late L.D. Potter and Elnora Skipper Potter. She is survived by her husband, Jackie Horne; two daughters, Jacque Stocks and husband, Keith of Delco, Wanda Watts and husband, Chris of Riegelwood; a sister, Lois Dale Kelly and husband, Burris, Jr. of Freeman; six grandchildren, Samantha Jacobs and husband, Eddie of Delco, Jayme Ward and husband, J. T. of Delco, Kassadee Robinson of Riegelwood, Karli Stocks of Delco, Kyli Stocks of Delco, Austin Stocks of Riegelwood; five great grandchildren, Jase Jacobs, Anna Rose Jacobs, Hadley Ward, Trenton, Ward, Emma Jo Jacobs. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Jackson Stocks, a great grandchild, Parker Ward. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Livingston Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Matthew Griffin. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, July 8, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.peacockfuneralhome.net
