Joseph E. “Joe” McRee 84, of Eustis, passed away on July 14, 2019. He was born in Eustis, lived here all his life. He was a graduate of Eustis High School and the University of Florida. Joe was retired from Golden Gem Growers of Umatilla where he served as Director of Grove Care management, he was a Deacon at LifePointe Church of Eustis, he also served at a Sunday School Teacher, and was a member of the men’s group at his church. He had been in the Eustis Jaycees, was a volunteer for Gideons International and served his country in the Florida National Guard. He is survived by his Joan Wood McRee, they were married for 62 years, his daughters, Lynne Morgan Lynch (Michael) of Eustis and Kelley Faulkner (Rick) of Jamestown, New York, his brother Bobby McRee of Thomasville, Georgia, sisters, Lois Monteith of Thomasville, Georgia and Billie Dalton of Indianapolis, Indiana, four grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Thursday, July 18th from 4 until 6 PM, Funeral services will be held in LifePointe Church of Eustis at Noon on Friday, July 19th.
