John’s Obituary John Charles (Spanky) Spangler Jr., was sent home to be with God Friday, July 19, 2019 at the age of 55. John was born on April 18, 1964 to John Charles and Josephine Maryanne Spangler Sr. in St. Louis, MO. He spent his life working in the family business & had several farms. John enjoyed taking care of livestock, baling hay, talking politics and helping his friends. John was in a bass club for many years and was an avid and excellent fisherman. He also enjoyed many trips to Colorado, Florida and Montana with his family. John is survived by his daughter: Heather Spangler of Columbia, his father, John Spangler Sr. of Wright City, brother, Dan Spangler (Carrie) of Wright City, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Spangler and his mother, Josephine Spangler. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379 Funeral- also on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 1 p.m. McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379 Deacon Dave Felber to officiate.
