Jeremy Lee King, 33 of Hamlin passed away July 23, 2019 after a sudden illness. Jeremy enjoyed sports, especially playing basketball. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Charles and Juanita King and maternal grandparents, Harvey and Hilda Gilfilen; aunts and uncles, Becky Gilfilen, Scotty Gilfilen, Mack Gilfilen, Londell Gilfilen and Deborah Stevens. He is survived by his parents; John B. King of Hamlin and Cynthia “Bambi” Gilfilen of Hurricane; brothers; Johnny King and Michael Gilfilen; sister CarrieAnne King; nephews, Jacob and Nate Gilfilen; aunts and uncles, Sherrie Gilfilen, Teresa Gilfilen, Donetta Mynes, Sharon Black, Delbert Gilfilen and David Gilfilen; special cousins, Megan King, Brooke Sowards, Billy Tucker, Brandon Flowers, Bradley Flowers, Crystal Mooney, Misty King, and Tanya Harden as well other family members. A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Hurricane.
