Jean Paschal, 94 of Durant, OK passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Durant, OK. She was born on June 27, 1925 in Rice, TX to Charles R. and Nannie (Gregory) McLaurin. Jean married the love of her life, Roy Lee Paschal, on January 15, 1945 in Lubbock, TX. She received a Bachelor of Arts while in Texas. They later moved their family to Bryan County in 1961. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, being a housewife, and she read a tremendous amount of books. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed many years with Roy before his passing on February 10, 2011. Jean is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother and one sister. Jean is survived by daughters; Martha Jean Hall and husband Joe of Silo, OK and Judy Wright and husband Bill of North Carolina, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Highland Cemetery in Durant, OK. Chaplain Leon Veazey will be conducting the service.
