Mr. James Wingo, age 86, of Union City, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019. He served in the United States Navy for 4 years during the Korean War. Mr. Wingo was a member of Union City Masonic Lodge #600 F & AM and he was also a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Wingo and is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy Wingo; daughter, Pamela Wingo Strada and her husband, Jeff of Marietta; sons, Michael Stephen Wingo of Hapeville, Scott Wingo and his wife, Kelly of Union City; grandchildren, Stephanie Strada, Stephen Strada, Preston Strada, Heather Wingo, and Dillon Wingo; great granddaughter, Braelyn Strada. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 2 o’clock at Holly Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Lavon Womack officiating.
