Herman R. “Rocky”‘s Obituary “Rocky”, of Westland, passed away at Sinai Grace Hospital, Detroit, as a result of injuries sustained in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident early Sunday morning, July 28. He was 31. Rocky was born June 13, 1988, at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit to Juliana (Sweet) and the late Herman R. “Skip” Walters, Jr. He was employed by Victory Honda in Plymouth as a service technician. Rocky grew up hunting, camping and enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars. He loved riding his bike and was a proud member of the Penetrators Motorcycle Club in Detroit. Moreover, he was a loving, kind and humble young man who will be terribly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace. Surviving are his beloved parents, Juliana “Julie” and Bulldog Baughman; loving sisters, Samantha Walters and Sara (Ron) Barnette; cherished grandmother, Annette Sweet; uncle, Matthew (Alisyn) Sweet; cousins, Christopher Maloney, Mary-Kate Sweet and Caroline Sweet; step-daughter, Ava; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sadly, in addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Sweet, and aunt, Kristin Stoops. Rocky’s family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday, August 2, from 2-8 pm. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday morning, August 3, at 10:00 am, also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are welcomed to the charity of one’s choice.
