Glenn’s Obituary Glenn E. Edwards of Greencastle passed away Thursday in Indianapolis. He was 81. Glenn was a jack of all trades. He served as an electrician, maintenance worker and truck driver. He attended school in Fountain County and then trade school. He also served as a reserve police officer in Lebanon for several years. Born May 20, 1938 in Tangier, Indiana, he was the son of Leon Edwards and Opal Tinder Edwards. Surviving family includes: his companion and caregiver, Della J. Downing; daughter, Linda Weiss (Walter); two sons, Jeff Denham (Kim) and Greg Denham (Connie); ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one more on the way; two brothers, Robert and Andy Edwards; three sisters, Ruth Myers, Gladys Fairfield and Dorothy Hauser; and his beloved dog, Jock. He was preceded in death by a son, Ron Edwards and five brothers, Les, Arnold, Raymond, Leonard and Ralph Edwards. Services will be at 7 PM Monday at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville, with visitation from 5 to 7 PM. A private burial will take place at the Clinton Falls Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank Premier Hospice and Abbie Hunt Bryce Home for the love and care given to Glenn. With that in mind, the family asks that donations in his memory be made to the Abbie Hunt Bryce Home, 4760 Pennwood Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46205. Read More
