Quince, a son of Ruenellar Anderson Rook and the late Jesse James Rook, was born May 12, 1959 in Northampton County, NC. Viewing for Mr. Rook will be Monday, August 5, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Cofield Mortuary. A Celebration Honoring the Life and Spirit of Mr. George Quince Rook, Sr. will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. from The Sanctuary of Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church, Gaston, NC with the Pastor, Bishop Wayne I. Welch, Sr., giving words of comfort. Mr. Rook will lie in state at the church one hour (10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.) prior to the service and will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
