Obituary of Frank Sebastian Tagariello Frank Sebastian Tagariello, 96, died peacefully in his Monroe Township, NJ home on July 7, 2019. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the United States Navy. Frank was born on January 3, 1923 in Bronx, NY to Michele and Eugenia Tagariello. In 1943, he joined the Navy where he was deployed on D-Day in the Invasion of Normandy at Omaha Beach. After serving in the military, he attended Pratt Institute where he studied architecture. As an architect Frank worked in New York and New Jersey where he designed churches, schools and office buildings. One of his designs includes St. Pio of Pietrelcina Church in Lavallette, NJ. He married Emilia Rubano in Brooklyn, NY in 1952. They moved to New Jersey in 1955 where they raised their three children. Frank enjoyed reading, gardening, watching golf and baseball and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Emilia; his three sons, Frank, Philip and Tom; his seven grandchildren, Troy, Eric, Bianca, PJ, Emma, Michael and John; and his three great-grandchildren, Owen, Luciana and Evangeline. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Philip, John and Catherine. A memorial gathering will be 7-9pm on Friday July 12, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. A memorial mass will be 10am on Saturday July 13, 2019 at Queenship of Mary RC Church – 16 Dey Rd., Plainsboro, NJ 08536. In lieu of flowers and for those who desire, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust in Frank’s honor – www.cst.dav.org.
