Obituary of Elsie P. Messantonio Elsie P. Messantonio, age 94, of Royersford, PA passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Parkhouse Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on May 6, 1925, the daughter of the late Royal Webster Petiet and the late Eleanor (Schleichter) Petiet. Elsie has been a resident at Parkhouse for ten years, formerly of Bridgeport and Norristown. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed knitting. She loved baseball, especially the Phillies. She was the wife of the late Carmen J. Messantonio. Survivors include her two sons, Carmen J. Messantonio, Jr. of Spring City and Robert (& Jeannie) Messantonio of Plymouth Meeting; as well as six grandchildren Carmen III, Michael, John, Joseph, Jeffrey and Mark; as well as three great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, Elsie was predeceased by her siblings. Graveside services in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens will be private.
