Dolores M. Brockey, 80, of Walnut Drive, Clearville, PA; passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Allegany Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cumberland, MD. She was born on October 08, 1938 in Accident, Maryland; a daughter of the late Samuel Smith and Anna May (Kahl) Smith-Brockey and husband John. On February 18, 1961 in Flintstone, MD; she was united in marriage to Christopher V. Brockey. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2018. She is survived by two children Gary E. Brockey, Clearville, PA and Tammy married to Kenny Monkman, Strasburg, VA; nephews Tim Reed, Greencastle, PA and Dan Reed, Bethlehem, PA. She was preceded in death by a nephew Monte Redinger, Sr. Mrs. Brockey was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1958. She alongside with her husband owned and operated C&G Dairy Farm for many years until their retirement. Dolores was a member of the Chaneysville Community Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Family and Friends will be received on Saturday, July 27, 2019 for a time of visitation at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. Burial will be held privately at Chaneysville Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Brockey to the Bedford County Humane Society, 182 Bohn Road, Bedford, PA 15522.
