ZANESVILLE Delores “Jean” Garrett, 78 passed away Monday, July 29, 2019. She was born February 17, 1941 in Zanesville to the late Ben and Violet Mayle Kennedy. Jean was retired from Riesbeck’s. Surviving are a son Rick (Cindy) Garrett; two daughters: Debra (Donald) Smith and Penny (Bernard) LeRoy; three brothers: Fred Kennedy, Dan Kennedy and Tim Kennedy; a sister Velma Miller; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Terry Garrett Sr.; a son Terry L. Garrett Jr.; a brother Ben Kennedy Jr. and a sister Joann Gill. Graveside services will be held at 1PM on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Zanesville Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Steven Dupler officiating.
