Clifton Bobby Jones Prudence, 41, of Providence, RI lost his battle with cancer on July 17, 2019 surrounded by his loving family and dear friends. He was born on January 13, 1978 in Providence, RI. Clifton was the son of Andrea E. (Mazon) Prudence and Clifton C. Jones. Clifton loved food, so it’s of no surprise, that he worked in food services industry. He was a cook at the Amos House in Providence, RI and MidiCi Restaurant in East Providence, RI. Clifton shared his love of sports, especially basketball and football, with his son, Darren. They enjoyed playing together, then arguing about who was the best, as well as discussing the stats of their favorite players and teams. Clifton is survived by his mother, Andrea E. Prudence, and his father, Clifton C. Jones, his son, Darren C. Phann, his sisters, Melissa Prudence, D’Lena Young (Larry) and step-brother, Phillip M. Johnston, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and dear friends. He will be missed by everyone.
