Christopher’s Obituary Christopher Lee Swisher, 53, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 11:50 p.m. Tues. July 23, 2019 at his home while under hospice care. He was born Mar. 22, 1966 in East St. Louis, IL to Dorothy (Simmons) Swisher of Granite City and the late Lloyd Swisher. Chris loved racing and NASCAR as well as fishing, flowers and birdwatching. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother: Jerry Swisher; and a sister: Tammy Sullivan, both of Granite City; and many extended family and friends. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved dog, “Harvick”. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of services at 4:00 p.m. Sun. July 28, 2019 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Mon. July 29, 2019 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, IL. Memorials may be made to the family.
