Howard, Carolyn Jane “Jani”, 57 of Springfield passed away July 21, 2019. She was born in Paintsville, KY on May 6, 1962, the daughter of William Steve and Jeanette Carolyn “Carol” Fyffe. Jani was a 1981 graduate of Greenon High School. She was an avid dog and animal lover, who loved volunteering at different shelters and spending time with her grandchildren. Jani was a member of the Machinist Club. Jani was an accounting clerk with the Clark County MRDD for the past 30 years. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother and step father Carol (David) Parker; son Cory (Amanda) Howard; Cory’s father Mark W. Howard; brother William Steve Fyffe: step brother Harry David Parker; step sister Lisa Parker Ealey; grandchildren Francis Gene Howard and Nolan Miles Howard; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services to honor Carolyn will be Saturday at 2:00PM in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home with visitation beginning at Noon. Memorial contributions are requested to the Clark County Dog Shelter 5201 Urbana Road Springfield, Ohio 45502.
