Mr. Carl R. Shows, 74, of Moss Point, MS, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at his home in Moss Point. He was born July 4, 1945 in Moselle, MS, to Roy L. and Vettie Easterling Shows. Mr. Shows was retired from Ingalls shipbuilding as an outside machinist. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman who loved his family more than anything. He was also an Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ann Schwebel, Three brothers, Oscar L. Shows, Charles Shows, and William Allen Shows. His sister, Breva Lee Parker, and one granddaughter, Ashlyn Leigh Duggan. Survivors include; 3 daughters, Charlotte (David) Glaskox, Teresa (Mike) Sheppard, and Tammie Coke. One son, Carl Duane Shows. Grandchildren; Daphne (Michael) Duggan, Christopher Sheppard, Kristin Sheppard, Cayston (Cheyenne) Sheppard, Dustin Glaskox, and Aimee Coke. Great- grandchildren; Bentley Duggan, Cooper Duggan, Sophia Sheppard, Olivia Sheppard, Chloe Sheppard, Brelynn Sheppard and Braydon Sheppard. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Monday, July 29, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Serene Memorial Gardens, 12800 Hwy 613, Moss Point, MS. with Rev. Robbie Murden officiating. Burial Will be at Serene Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Holder Wells Coastal Funeral Home, 12800 Hwy 613, Moss Point, MS 39563 is in charge of arrangements.
