Bruce Nicholas Wells, 68, of Brownsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg, PA. He was February 11, 1951 in Brownsville the son of Nicholas and Ida (Pacione) Wells. Both of which preceded him in death. Bruce graduated from California University of Pennsylvania and worked as a special education teacher. Bruce was a member of the Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville. He also was involved with the Benedictine monks at St. Vincent College. He will be sadly missed by his two sisters, Carolyn Henshaw and Jean Arnold and husband Dr. Tom Arnold; brother in law, Howdy Henshaw; two nephews, Marc Henshaw and wife Susan and Jesse Arnold; niece Bailey Arnold; great niece, Cecilia Ida Henshaw; aunt, Evelyn (Pacione) Constantine and many cousins. Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA, on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. There will be Prayers of Transition at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2019 followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM at the Historic Church of St. Peter, 300 Shaffner Ave., Brownsville, PA with Rev. Father Timothy Kruthaupt as celebrant.
