Bruce G. Dix, 75, of West Hartford, CT passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital on his 37th wedding anniversary, July 24. 2019. He was born in Meriden, CT to the late Earl and Alice Dix. Bruce graduated from Southington High School and served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Keegan Dix and his beloved children, Kelly Impsen and Doug Impsen of Troutman, NC; Kristie Katkavich of Holland, MA; and Brittany Dix and Mike Christiana of Granby, CT. He was pre deceased by his daughter Natalie Dix and his infant sons Adam & Keelan Dix. He also leaves three grandchildren: Shawna Katkavich, Caiden Katkavich and Lily Christiana. He also leaves a sister Gail and her husband Dr. Kyum Pyun of Cheshire, CT. In addition, he was pre deceased by his sister Carol Badorek of Southington, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Bindi. Bruce was employed in the automotive industry for the past 40 years. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his warm heart. He was a loving family man and enjoyed many family vacations on Cape Cod. He was a car enthusiast and was so proud of his “flame” car and 1958 Ford Anglia. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 30th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave, West Hartford. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 31st at 11:00 AM in Fairview Cemetery, Whitman Ave., West Hartford.
