Betty’s Obituary Betty Lou Gill, 85, of Pilot Point, TX, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Sherman, TX. She was born May 21, 1934 in Pilot Point, TX to J.W. “Billy” and Bertie Lorene (Edwards) Bridges. Betty married Randy Gill on December 8, 1979 in Pilot Point, TX. Betty is survived by her daughter, Judy Higgs and husband Jim of Whitesboro, TX; two grandchildren, William Cody Martin and wife April of Las Vegas, NV and Kelsey Ann Martin of Whitesboro, TX; one great-grandchild, Hartley Martin; brother, James Edward Bridges and wife Mary of Pilot Point, TX; sister, Margaret Moreland and husband Roger of Meza, AZ; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Lorene; husband, Randy; and sister, Billie Ruth Allen. Visitation will be held 12:00PM-1:00PM, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Pilot Point, TX and the funeral service will begin at 1:00PM with Denise Peckham officiating.
