Betty’s Obituary Betty L. Woodsmall, 91, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Westport Estates Assisted Living in Marshall. Private family graveside services will be held at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, with Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Memorials may be made to Community Cancer Center in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com Born February 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Mabel Smith. She lived in Marshall most of her life and was a 1945 graduate of Marshall High School. On September 15, 1950, in Marshall, she married Burgen Woodsmall who preceded her in death on July 2, 1997. She retired as secretary at Eastwood School and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Terrie Woodsmall of Marshall; one grandson, Ryan Woodsmall of St. Louis; one sister, Pat Boatright of Lee’s Summit; sister-in-law, Cathy Swinger (Doug) of Marshall; and one niece and two nephews.
