Avis M. Williams, 88, of Newton Falls passed away with her family by her side on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Country Club Allan Dell Assisted Living. Avis was born in Warren on July 2, 1931, the daughter of Park and Eleanor (Barker) Turner. She was a teacher’s aide at Southeast High School. Cherished memories will be carried on by her husband Okey, whom she married on January 10, 1951, sons Larry of Wheeling, Mickey of Diamond, Dennis of Harrisville, WV, and Mark of Harrisburg, PA, daughter Kerry Williams of Newton Falls, brothers Richard Turner of Twinsburg, and Earl Turner of Liverpool, NY, and 9 grandchildren. Preceding Avis in death was her brother Donald Turner. Calling hours and services are being planned at this time with the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls. Interment will be at the Hawley Cemetery.
