Alvedene “Dene” Beaty, 63, of Belton passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. Dene was born on March 30,1956 to Bruce and Alvedene McPherson in Detroit, MI. She married Brian Clayton Beaty Sr. on November 2, 1974 in Pensacola, FL. Dene worked at a variety of jobs over her lifetime including an EMT, waitress, bank clerk, security officer, and a survey clerk. She enjoyed casinos, slot machines, and painting. Dene loved her family and getting her sons and grandchildren together. She will be dearly missed. Dene is preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Alvedene McPherson. She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Clayton Beaty Sr. of Killeen; her sons, Brian Beaty Jr. and wife, Natsumi of Abilene, Dan Beaty of Tampa, FL, and David Beaty and wife, Rose of Killeen; her brother, Bruce G. McPherson Jr. of Florida; her sisters, Christine McPherson of Pensacola, FL and Liz Rollins and husband, Carl Johnson of Port Richie, FL; a total of seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home of Belton. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
