William “Bill” Andrew Horton, 70, husband of Bonny Williams Horton, of 387 Sonlit Way, Seneca, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Memphis, TN, Mr. Horton was the son of the late Basil Williams and Nelda Durham Horton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Duke Power. Mr. Horton was a supporter of the Collins Children’s Home and Safe Harbor. He was a member of the Keowee Toxaway Amateur Radio Club and was of the Mormon Faith. Mr. Horton is survived by his brother: Joe Horton of Sheridan, AK; and sister: Marilyn Morris (Mike) of Walkertown, NC. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 28, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Collins Children’s Home, P.O. Box 745, Seneca, SC 29679, Safe Harbor, PO. Box 174 Greenville, SC 29602 or to Keowee Toxaway Amateur Radio Club, 611 S.
