Wendy Marie Holm Hoar passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings. She was born in Butte, Thursday, March 7, 1963 to Rodney and Nancy (Smyth) Holm. Wendy attended local schools including the Webster, West Junior High and Butte High School. She married Eligio Herrera Jr in Butte. They later divorced and she married Michael Hoar. He passed away February 18, 2006. Wendy worked for many years in the kitchen at the War Bonnet Inn and the M&M. Besides her husband, Michael Hoar, Wendy is preceded in death by her father, Rodney Holm and sister, Lynn Wilson. Survivors include her mother, Nancy Holm, sons and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Misty Herrera and Michael Eugene Hoar all of Butte, grandchildren, Ayden Herrera, Jared Herrera, Kadense Hoar, Fisher Hoar and Thomas Owen Hoar who is expected to be born in November. Also surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Valerie Holm of Pullman, Washington, brother-in-law, Jeff Wilson of Colorado and her nieces, Jennifer Holm of Washington and Mandi Wilson of Boulder and nephew Matt Wilson of Boulder. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her family.
